Closet Solutions expands with new Ringgold, Georgia, location

Chickamauga native Tim Frost bought Closet Solutions in Knoxville in February 2020 just before the coronavirus pandemic hit and ultimately boosted home remodeling and improvement projects like what his custom home improvement business offers.

So earlier this year, Frost and his brother, Mike, decided to expand Closet Solutions with a second location near their hometown. Last week, the Frosts officially opened their 12,000-square-foot warehouse and storefront in the Gateway Business Center just off Cloud Springs Road near Costco.

Closet Solutions has operated for 25 years from its location in Knoxville, but Tim Frost said in a telephone interview Thursday that the newest store will help grow the business for the Chattanooga market.

“Through the pandemic, there was a lot of growth in home improvement companies like ours so we’ve grown a lot and we’ve always had an eye toward expanding closer to where I grew up,” Frost said. “This new location is also close enough geographically to the main site that we can easily manage and share some operations.”

Frost said Closet Solutions designs and installs custom home improvement and organization solutions including closets, garages, pantries, home offices, and Murphy beds. The business provides customized cabinets and installations for home improvements outside of most kitchen and bathroom projects.

Mike Frost will be the general manager of the Ringgold operation.

“One of the great things about Closet Solutions is that our projects make a dramatic difference in our customers’ homes, but most only take a day for the installation to be completed,” he said. “We like to call it Squared Away in a Day.” We also like to say if you can dream it up, we can build it.”

Frost said Closet Solutions sells to both contractors and homeowners and offers customized solutions and provides a lifetime warranty on its installations.

The new showroom is open to the public Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.

The company provides free in-home design consultations that can be scheduled by calling the showroom at (423) 271-8188 or online at
